Hey everyone here is a convention safe foam weapon that I built a couple of months ago but never got around to uploading it on Instructables it's.....Thor's Stormbreaker!!!

This build was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy the process!

Before we begin let me say some of the products that are use in prop building can be bad for you :(
So be safe!!! Always wear eye protection, wear gloves, and use a respirator when needed.

Lets get started!!!!

Step 1: I'm Now on YouTube!!!

Not only did I take a bunch of pics for the build thread, but I filmed a lot for my YouTube channel. I would recommend to not only watch the videos but read through the steps it took to bring this weapon to life.

Also be sure to Subscribe to my YouTube channel for future builds! https://www.youtube.com/SKSProps

Would I be able to buy one of these from anyone? My email is christianm2793@gmail.com if anyone wants to respond.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing your creation. How heavy is it? I helped my daughter create another cosplay prop years ago but it is too heavy to carry to long at a convention. If this works out to be significantly lighter I will be crafting a new prop!

Thanks! because of it being made mostly out of foam the weapon only weighs around 3 pounds total and most of that weight is in the PVC pipe as the handle.

Yet another great creation! Any idea as to how many hours this took in total? I realize that you went back and reworked things (as does everyone) and this is more an example build, versus a "do this to make an exact replica" Instructable.

I want to get an idea as to time commitment before I show my child what I may (or may not!) be able to fabricate by Halloween....

First off Thanks! Even with the rebuild this was a 3 day build so around 18-20 hours
